According to the official listing the Board school opened in 1872, but this building fronting Carlton Lane bears a date of 1879 so it may be an extension to the original building. The architect is named as William Richardson Image It has now been superseded by a new one nearby Image and the old one, listed grade II (list entry 1389126) converted to housing. This is the building fronting Carlton Lane.
