This apparently unnamed rough road which connects Kirkland Road with Methil Brae passes the secluded Ossian Park - a large open grassy area and children's play park. It allows local authority maintenance vehicles access to the park and provides vehicular access to the rear of properties which are in Ossian Crescent. From this direction the road forks - left leads to Methil Brae and right leads to parking area/garages.
