The Farm Pool is an old drovers' watering hole that would have been used for their flocks or herds in the past. However, there is little such use for the pool these days and so Mother Nature is clearly intent on running it for different purposes. Another slight concern is the belief that no-one is totally sure who actually owns it and is responsible - the parish council or a private landowner.
