Old School House and The Orchard, on the north side of The Green. Old School House (on the left) was built in 1862, designed by Henry Woodyer (who was also responsible for the rebuilding of St Mary's Church), and housed the village school until 1981. The Orchard (on the right) dates from 1878. Seen here during the felling of a Corsican Pine sited in the front garden of Old School House, thought to date from around 1862 when the school was built.
