A lane giving a good view of aircraft approaching Gatwick to land when the wind has an easterly component. Nearly all public flights at this time were cancelled because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Some airlines were making one or two empty flights each day shuttling between Gatwick and usually nearby airports. This is presumably to keep the aircraft in flying order, although I don't know the exact details. The plane here is BA G-VIIG arriving from Heathrow.
