Litherland Road Bridge Plaque

Date plaque cast onto the parapet of Litherland Road Bridge over the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. Work on the canal started in 1770 and was completed in 1816, the bridge is numbered 2B which indicates it was added at a later date between bridges 2 and 3, the plaque is dated 1888.
