First Leicester 32086, a Volvo B7TL/Alexander ALX400, lays over at the terminus of route 22 before heading back to Rushey Mead via Leicester city centre. Behind it is Arriva Midlands 3739, a DAF SB200/Plaxton Centro, also on the 22; at this time, First and Arriva were engaged in a bus war in Leicester after years of largely keeping to separate areas of the city.
