The A151 now follows the route of the Bourne Bypass and goes left at the top to head toward Colsterworth and the A1, where it loses its identity. The red ER sign is an evacuation route marker. The concrete post is one of the LCC possession markers erected when the bypass was built, because of some curious dealings with the house builders who were supposed to pay for it, but ended up borrowing the money from the county to do so. There is a string of them along the bypass.
