From a field gateway on the footpath passing over Five Bells Hill from Watchet. Note that this part of the footpath is metalled and just wide enough for service vehicle access only from the Williton side to a small waterworks reservoir at the top of the hill. From the top of the hill down to Woodlands road in Watchet it is only a narrow metalled footpath; so it is only a practical route for pedestrians and bicycles. This footpath has streetlighting as far as the turn-off from the nearest public road on the outskirts of Williton, as it is used by Watchet students who study at Williton's Danefield School.(You can just see the lighting standards further down the hill.)
