St. Peter's Manor is believed to date from around 1618, with a major restoration in 1867. The house was the home of Dr James Nash during the restoration of the English monarchy under King Charles II. The Nash family were wealthy industrialists, owning woollen mills along the River Salwarpe. Ahead on the right is the start of the lane connecting St. Peter's Church Lane to Tagwell Road. The building is Grade II listed.
