Built on the site of Woodnesborough Colliery, the colliery never went into production and the site was sold to become a brickworks after being mothballed though the Great War. Most of the newer brickworks buildings are seen here, the brickworks was also closed at the time of this view. The site has been redeveloped with unaffordable housing.
