Ordnance Survey documents indicate that in 1953 a benchmark levelled at 142.445m above Newlyn Datum was verified on a garage attached to the near house on its front near corner. It appears that the house has been extended over a rebuilt garage and the stone with the benchmark moved just inside the garage on its far face
