As the old sign on the building reads, this is Londonderry, built by the side of High Street in the early 19thC. Originally a Roman road, known as Dere Street, it is also known as Leeming Lane at this point. Just a field away, behind my position the busy A1M can be heard, with lorries thundering past, but this is just a quiet backwater, with birds singing in the trees.
