...to Tuach Hill, Kintore. The pleasant walk is popular with dog walkers. 'Tuach' means 'north' according to Celtic Placenames in Aberdeenshire by John Milne (publ. 1912, available as an e-book or free download from archive.org), which is slightly odd as the hill lies south of the village.
