A cul-de-sac of bungalows off the very top of Ferncroft Road, literally a few yards before the dead end. The sign is the standard Bournemouth nameplate from the 1980s, affixed with tubular steel which protrudes at each side. It is a bit pointless really, as it faces the dead end of Ferncroft Road so will not be visible to any approaching traffic! This is photo no.140 of a series of 453 in my coronavirus lockdown walking project: See https://www.geograph.org.uk/article/My-2020-Coronavirus-Lockdown-walking-project for the complete set of photos.
