Church of St. Paul, Deptford. built 1712-1730, the work of Thomas Archer. Pevsner describes it as "large, sombre and virile". Certainly a very fine building which looks best when the sun illuminates the white Portland stone. Picture taken in 1959 and scanned from old Agfacolor slide.
