Dogget's Lane is to the right, leading into Cambridge. To the left is Home End. The White Hart is at 1 Balsham Road, which leads southeast out of Fulbourn. Richard Scotte writes from Australia; Many many thanks for posting this picture. It took me back to the years when my family lived across the meadow behind that very inn. We caught the school bus there every day for years to get to Cambridge. I still remember the verse that used to be over the fireplace in the saloon bar - "Pray ye who stand before the fire - please sit down, we all desire that others here as well as you may see the fire and feel it too". Funny how one remembers these small things.
