This sign stands next to the route of the England Coast Path, as indicated by the black and white disc attached to the top of the post, on land owned by the freeholders of Newbiggin Moor and currently occupied by Newbiggin-By-The-Sea Golf Club. The England Coast Path, when completed, will be the longest waymarked and managed coastal path in the world.
