Manufacturer of high tech computer-controlled machine tools. Joseph Rhodes started his workshop in Wakefield in 1824. In 1921 Joseph Rhodes Co. Ltd expanded onto this 8 acre site. In the last few decades it has acquired other similar companies in the region, to become Group Rhodes.
