At this crossing of two tracks there are four ways to go. There is the byway which runs from Gore Cross on the A360 road over the flanks of White Hill and Strawberry Hill to near Dauntsey's School on Cheverell Road, B3098. There is the byway that ascends White Hill and there is a bridleway that leads to West Lavington. This view is of the byway that ascends White Hill. From West Lavington the walk follows the Wessex Ridgeway long distance path up to Littleton Down on Salisbury Plain. Then along the Imber Range Perimeter Path before descending via a byway and a bridleway to the start. About 5½ miles.
