Stepping Stones, Holywell Dene

These stepping stones, which stand virtually on the line of the 'Normal Tide Limit (NTL)' of the Seaton Burn and at the extreme upper end of the flood plain, cross an area which can often be extremely boggy. The reeds on either side of the stones give a strong clue as to the normal condition of the area.
