A very wet early morning view, showing one of the large 2-8-0 tank engines developed by the Great Western Railway primarily for short haul coal trains in the Welsh valleys. The shed in the background was a wagon repair shop. The whole area of the loco depot is now taken over by the Wildbrook housing estate https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5502279 .
