Howmoor Quarry Dun

A small but impressive feature on the moor near Maybole. The Canmore site notes an alternative name, "Dun Ean". There's good evidence of prehistoric fortification. Although I live near this spot, I had never quite got round to exploring the dun site. I visited as one of my daily exercise outings during the Coronavirus restrictions.
