Looking along Claremont Road to Newcastle University's Claremont Building. The second stage of a large project to re-clad and reconfigure the Claremont Tower, Claremont Bridge and Daysh Buildings is currently underway with the latter building covered in scaffolding. The first stage of the project saw the re-cladding and other alterations carried out to the bridge and tower.
