A modern development - around 15 years old - built on what had been a vacant plot but for the small hut of the local Disabled Drivers' Association. The plot also had a public footpath through to Leybourne Avenue from here, and that right of way still exists on the carriageway of the new road. There is more discussion on this at Image and other photos along the route, linked from that one. The sign is a modern one, from 2010-15 when this more modern, abstract emblem rather than the traditional town coat of arms as the working logo of the council.
