This cast iron sculpture by Pippa Hale, erected in 2018, stands near the entrance to LIDL in Stanningley, and was commissioned by the supermarket chain (perhaps under a Section 106 agreement) to represent the history of iron-founding, and specifically the casting of bridge components, in this area.
