Sunny View is dated 1702 with the eaves raised and the right bay added in the late 18th century. Some original internal features remain. Listed, for group value, grade II, with details at: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1262847 Bulkington is a small village about 4½ miles west of the market town of Devizes and about 4½ miles south east of Melksham. The village has been occupied since the 12th century. During the 19th century a dairy centre was the main industry in the village but these days most workers commute.
