The substantial Manor Farmhouse is late 18th century. The bay to the right was added in the early 19th century. Listed, grade II, with details at: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1262850 Bulkington is a small village about 4½ miles west of the market town of Devizes and about 4½ miles south east of Melksham. The village has been occupied since the 12th century. During the 19th century a dairy centre was the main industry in the village but these days most workers commute.
