This is the view into the bottle kiln showing the wares stacked in saggars for firing. Some items just appear to be on shelves and not in saggars and I don't know how accurate that is. The pottery was then preserved and operated as a museum but in 2020 is due to be redeveloped for housing. Some items will be retained as of heritage interest but the building with the kiln is slated for conversion. Depending on your view this is the least worst option for this site or wanton vandalism by profit-seeking developers.
