This recently built square (2018) is a result of closing off roads which previously were part of the erstwhile gyratory system. The building within the square is Portsoken Pavilion designed by Make Architects https://www.makearchitects.com/ (the square is in the ward of Portsoken). Currently the pavilion is home to Kahaila social enterprise café. This photo was taken during the Covid-19 lockdown, hence the deserted appearance.
