Longsight Lodge is now a retirement home complex. The iron gate post on the left was manufactured by William Crumblehulme & Sons Ltd. of Derby Iron Works in Rothwell Street, Bolton some time between 1895 when the company became limited and 1910 when the company went into receivership.
