The train, heading from Lowestoft towards Ipswich, was virtually empty: during the coronavirus epidemic, all unnecessary travel was deprecated and nobody was heading for a night out on this Saturday. These new bimodal units had been introduced on the East Suffolk line at the start of 2020.
