Bournemouth: former central fire station

Situated in Holdenhurst Road near the Lansdowne, this was Bournemouth’s central fire station until it was replaced by Image in the late 20th century. It contained the longest fireman’s pole in the country. It was taken over by Bournemouth University as a nightclub and is now a nighttime venue unconnected with the uni.
