An excursion on the canal

Image: © Richard Sutcliffe Taken: 11 Jun 1985

Members of Glasgow Natural History Society on board a boat on the Forth and Clyde Canal for an evening cruise from Glasgow Bridge. This was 1985 and the canal was only partly open. The boat only went as far as Cadder before returning. The 25 members present enjoyed a meal as they enjoyed the trip along the canal. Scanned from a Kodachrome colour reversal (slide) film.
