Not sure how old it is but it's an impressive structure in a location with a nice ambiance. Maybe Pondicherry Stone Circle would have a more poetic ring to it? Its creator told me he was motivated to build it because of his love of megaliths, stone carvings, etc., an interest he acquired from his inspirational schoolteacher . . . Stan Beckensall. Image
