On the left is the Grade II listed https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1246920 Gardens Hotel comprising a textile shipping warehouse of mid-to-late C19 date, and another of 1904 by W & G Higginbottom, both with ground floor shops and upper floor offices. For a time part of the building was the general offices of Manchester Corporation Tramways. 59 - 61 Piccadilly is the Grade II listed https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1246671 Clayton House by W & G Higginbottom built in 1907. It is home to, among others, the Manchester & Lancashire Family History Society. The ground floor tenant is Subway. 63 - 65 Piccadilly is the Grade II listed https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1246671 St Margaret's Chambers which sits on the corner of Newton Street and was built in the 1890s. The corner retail shop is Max Speilman.
