This locomotive was the second of the 7 rebuilt by the LMS before nationalisation. The rebuilt locomotives had a higher power rating than their predecessors and were rated for passenger rather than mixed traffic work. Seen here reversing its empty stock out of Liverpool Lime Street Station.
