The Northumberland Street branch of the multinational Starbucks coffee shop business. Due to a low level of custom caused by the outbreak of COVID-19 disease the Starbucks coffee shop on Northumberland Street had closed early despite it being a Saturday. As part of their precautions to try and protect staff and customers, and limit the spread of the coronavirus which causes COVID-19, notices in the door explained that the shop was preferring cashless payments and only selling food and drink to take-away when it was open.
