Compare with https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5776585 in 2018 after pedestrianisation. The Listed Grade I Crown Hotel of c.1600 in the centre of the view is essentially unchanged, all the other buildings are also still there – most being listed too – the most visible change being Warwick House on the extreme right where the timber framing on the upper floor has been exposed, and of course the retailers have changed.
