No, Geograph hunters I am not going mad. There really was a church here in the MIDDLE of the road once. Perhaps not surprisingly it was not rebuilt having been destroyed during The Great Fire of London https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St_Gabriel_Fenchurch
