This is now the headquarters of Dundee City Council. It was originally Halley's Hackle Works. This made pins for textile machinery. It then stored ink and paper for newspaper printing before becoming the Council's headquarters. The original building dates from 1911 by Harry Thomson and the conversion work, completed in 2011 was under architects Reiach and Hall. The tower in the distance is on Lindsay Street Mill.
