Carved stone post by the UC road, in parish of STITHIANS (KERRIER District), North of Penhalurick Barton, against hedge on overgrown verge, on West side of road. Erected by the parish in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- REDRUTH 2¼ CARN MENELLIS 2 HELSTON 8½ Carved benchmark on mid face over #2. Grade II listed.
