Text on the banner on a Rhondda Line railway perimeter fence includes "RHONDDA'S ONLY INDOOR 3G PITCHES" and "CAFE NOW OPEN". A 3G pitch (third generation pitch) requires infill for the fibres to remain upright and to maximise playability and safety.
