Weeley's War Memorial is on the B1441 Clacton Road, at its junction with Bentley Road. It is a rough-hewn Portland stone wheel-head cross standing on a tapering plinth, and is a Grade II Listed Structure. As an aside, in his photograph of the same road junction from November 2018 Image] Robin points out that the direction signs are wrong. It is evident that they have since been changed, but the Clacton and Colchester directions still need to be swapped over!
