This handsome and very old house's Grade II listing begins “House, C15 and c 1670. Timber-framed, pebble-dash rendered, with long-straw thatched roof, half-hipped, with grey gault brick ridge stack. Plan of single range and lobby entry but part of the crosswing of C15 house remains at right hand. Kitchen wing at rear is also C17”.
