A slightly cheeky wander down into the premises of the waterworks (easy enough through a nearby gap in the hedge) gives this view of the northern portal of the Grade II listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101053663-cosford-bridge-shifnal#.Xm8xd6j7RPY & https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1053663 Cosford Bridge. The bridge dates from 1780, and is allegedly the work of the famous county surveyor of the time, Thomas Telford. The listing was granted in 1984.
