Introduction

The photograph on this page of End of the line by Brian Whittle as part of the Geograph project.

Southminster Station in July 1970 (exact day unknown). Even then this still had the air of a rural station, including the porter's trolley. The ticket office had gone however, and the station would have been unstaffed by then, with tickets being sold on the train.
