Recently cleaned up and restored to a large extent, with an overgrowth of ivy removed and brickwork repaired & repointed. This old village pound would once have been used to coral stray farm animals until their owners could collect them. Grade II listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101053662-the-pound-albrighton#.Xmjh56j7RPY & https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1053662 in 1984.
