A long closed road, and the number is no longer in use for surviving sections. The road was closed when the A90 was built to the Forth Road Bridge. Land on the north side is now housing, replacing the Hewlett Packard factory, while to the south a field between this road and the A90 awaits almost certain development. Part of the road is used by the National Cycle Network.
