Grand Union Canal - disused stop lock by Star City, Birmingham

This stop lock was near Salford Junction and is now without gates. Beyond can be seen some of a sequence of 3 closely spaced pipe bridges. The lock was formally known as Salford Bridge Lock and was No. 64. Although the bridges are designated as pipe bridges one, at least, carries electrical cables.
